Chicory Seed

Description

Chicory helps regulate the metabolism and is used in the treatment of digestive and gallbladder problems in birds. It cleanses the blood, bowels and detoxifies the liver. This seed is rich in vitamins B, C and K. Chicory is essential for sick birds or for increasing the appetite.
Chicory is preferred by smaller birds particularly finches and canaries.
